Great local hometown feel. Very friendly service and cozy atmosphere. Even the customers are friendly and conversational.Breakfast choices are always solid with decent selections. Had the ham steak this time around. Very tasty though a little fatty. Made for 2 meals.

The Sunnyside Cafe was the perfect spot. We hit the Cape May zoo and we swung by this Cafe. Great staff. Amazing atmosphere. It's that hometown authentic American diner spot tucked away in a little tiny neighborhood. We had a wonderful breakfast. I had an omelette that was just fantastic while my partner had sausage gravy which really hit the spot, I stole a couple bites of that!

Pleasant little restaurant with a unique decor choice inside and standard cafe fare.Sunnyside Cafe is less expensive than other options in the area, but the food is still top notch. It's also served as quickly as the sign outside implies.The pumpkin french toast was a seasonal delight and eggs cooked over medium were perfectly runny without being raw. The cook smashed & grilled the scrapple as requested. Our server was prompt and upbeat.An interesting touch was the celestial decor. It wasn't overdone or obtrusive, but enough to give Sunnyside Cafe its own personality.

Had a really good sandwich. The waitress was polite and accommodating. We were seated quickly, served quickly. Atmosphere was pleasant..

We were just passing through, and we're so glad we stopped here! Huge portions, delicious food, and they were so fast. The staff was super friendly, even though we were "outsiders." (Everyone seemed to know everyone.) Note that there is a 4% charge for using a card, so make sure you have cash.

Stopped here for breakfast while we waited for the cape may zoo to open. Service was fast and polite, food was amazing and came out quickly, would highly recommend!

I am very picky about my eggs. I come for breakfast at least once a week. Perfect eggs every time. Service is always spot on and food comes hot and quick.
